A couple of weeks ago I wrote about my living room.
I have made a couple of updates so thought I would keep you in the loop.
This corner looked particularly uncared for and a bit out on a limb.
However, add one lovely oversized clock and, a duck egg throw and, I think, it makes all the difference.
I feel as though this part of the room belongs to the rest now, it seems more ‘pulled together’.
I highly recommend taking photos of your spaces because it really does give you a different perspective when you see it in a picture.
When I saw this one, I suddenly remembered about two pictures that I had in the loft.
So I have added my two favourite pictures of the girls as babies to either side of the mirror.
I am delighted with the difference these small changes make to the room.
Have a lovely day!
It looks really lovely! I mainly started blogging to document changes we make to the house since we moved in a little over a year ago and it’s great being able to look at photos for a different perspective or to remember how it used to look. The clock is super x #HomeEtc

You’re so right about getting perspective from photos. As to the pictures of your girls — I would like them to face each other. Jo @ Let’s Face the Music

They were side by side in our old house, we are enjoying the change. Thanks for popping by x

I didn’t mean they need to be close together, I just meant they seem to be looking away from each other (out of the room) instead of toward each other (into the room). I can’t see the pictures clearly so I might have this all wrong. Thanks for stopping by my blog with such a nice comment. Jo

Aaah it’s looking SO lovely Lisa! I love the new corner — what a difference just those few items have made! It’s funny — I’m a real fan of ‘styling a corner’! A little glimpse — out of the corner of your eye — of something really well put together is SO cheering. So lovely to have you back this week pet!
Thanks so much for linking up with #HomeEtc — hope to see you again next week! x

I LOVE oversized clocks! That is a good tip to take photos of your room, sometimes you don’t notice things in real life, as you’re so used to seeing it. #HomeEtc
