Five on Friday!

Cor!! This Friday has come around quickly. Once more I am linking five happy things from this week to Amy’s Five On Friday.  Once more it’s about the little things . Everyone posts a lovely range of things, here are mine;

One

The eldest paid us a flying visit and we went to a local Greek restaurant to celebrate. When we were first married we lived really near to this restaurant but never went now, we have been twice in as many months, it really is lovely. It was a fantastic thing to do on a Wednesday night, it really broke the week up.

Two

We have been taking Jack out on the field next to the golf course for a proper run this week, whenever the rain has stopped. Most of the time he has the whole field to himself, although he would prefer other dogs to be there. He runs between me and himself like a lunatic – best game in the world apparently.

Three

Himself presented me with these chocolates completely out of the blue on Tuesday evening . It was not a special occasion or anything, all a bit weird really, however the girls and I  can testify that they were very nice.

Four

The Glade is looking a bit overgrown at the moment, I think the idea is that it is to be left to look like a meadow and to allow the wildlife to thrive. However, this isn’t ideal for all our little people, the grass is now taller than some of them! Nevertheless, I did remember to take this picture of our Fairy’s door this week to show you. Clearly a Fairy who takes pride in her clean looking front door lives there.

Five

This Lemon Drizzle cake is cooling as I type, it’s to take to work today with some Chocolate Brownies. It’s been a busy week and we are starting a Friday Club were we each take it in turns to supply a treat, great idea eh?!?

I will be busy this weekend making cupcakes for our first Glade Baby Shower, so exciting!
