In honour of it being Miss Glade’s birthday this week, this is My Captured Moment today.
Miss Glade isn’t the luckiest of people, bless her! On the day before her third birthday, I was frantically shopping for last minute party bits and pieces when Himself stopped me and said “Have you seen this?”.
Miss Glade had Chicken Pox.
Therefore, we were forced to cancel her party. We rearranged a fancy dress party for a couple of weeks later and, six of her friends arrived all dressed as……………………… Snow White!!!!
When all seven took to the trampoline, well it was the stuff of nightmares ha!!
Have you ever had to cancel a birthday party? Have you ever been invaded by a Disney Character? Ha!

Fantastic! The fancy dress thing is yet to happen to us but Tin Box Tot did start to come out in chicken pox the day before we went to a wedding last year. By the time we realised what it might be we were there and she was running around with all the other kids. Oops! #MyCapturedMoment

We had to cancel Son no. 4’s 16th birthday dinner and cake last week as he had flu! I think he was less bothered by it than I was actually. I’ve promised him a new birthday cake and special dinner this weekend. (The rest of us ate the other one – we felt very guilty but otherwise it would have been wasted!) Judy.

We haven’t yet had to cancel a party thankfully, how disappointed your daughter must have been! The thought of that many snow whites running around did make me chuckle though 🙂 #mycapturedmoment
